HIP HOP X DESIGN PANEL

This panel honored women shaping the future of design through the lens of hip hop culture. From architecture and fashion to visual arts and digital media, Hip Hop by Design explored how women are reclaiming space, challenging norms, and transforming design into a tool for cultural expression and community impact.

The conversation featured a voice from my role as the Hip Hop Architecture Fellow, bringing insight into how built environments can reflect identity, history, and resistance. The discussion highlighted the power of design rooted in hip hop to uplift youth, challenge traditional narratives, and build spaces that reflect the communities they serve.
